further proof that in the mainstream straight world gay and lesbians are more acceptable than bi-sexuals and transgender folk…good reason for the lgbt community to doff it’s own exclusive and dismissive stance toward the b and t parts of the acronym

THE GUERRILLA ANGEL REPORT — Are you transgender and are still thinking about voting for Gov. Mitt Romney this November? Let me help you here a bit: Mitt Romney would rather kill a state-sponsored antibullying guide than have the word “transgender” (and “bisexual”) appear in it.

While the Romney administration claimed at the time the guide needed ‘further review’ when they delayed it however, new information from an email recently obtained by the Boston Globe indicates the motive for killing the guide was partisan — not at all what Romney’s people led us to believe.

From the email: “Because this is using the terms ‘bisexual’ and ‘transgendered,’ DPH’s name may not be used in this publication,’’ wrote the official, Alda Rego-Weathers, then the deputy commissioner of the Massachusetts Department of Public Health.

In the email Rego-Weathers stated she had been ‘consulting with Romney’s office on the issue.’ More from the

  1. Like a friend of mine said recently. People are smart, but a number of people are stupid. The intelligence of people in groups is inversely proportional to the size of the group. Missed your posts..glad to catch you back in the blogging world. 😉

    • glad to be back…nice to take a technology break and go camping out every once in a while tho…radical, really. in that it restores that ‘rooted’ feel that allows for flight, much as the tethered string allows the soaring of the kite…
